INGREDIENTS:-



For the Tikki:



- 2 large potatoes, boiled and mashed

- 1 cup fresh peas

- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs

- 1/4 cup gram flour (besan)

- 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds

- 1/2 teaspoon coriander powder

- 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder

- 1/4 teaspoon red chili powder

- Salt, to taste

- 2 tablespoons lemon juice

- 2 tablespoons oil



For the Chole:



- 1 cup chickpeas (kabuli chana), soaked overnight and boiled

- 2 medium onions, chopped

- 2 cloves garlic, minced

- 1 medium tomato, chopped

- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds

- 1 teaspoon coriander powder

- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder

- 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder

- 1/2 teaspoon garam masala powder

- Salt, to taste

- 2 tablespoons lemon juice

- 2 tablespoons oil



For the Chaat:



- 2 tablespoons yogurt

- 1 tablespoon tamarind chutney

- 1 tablespoon green chutney

- 1/4 cup crispy onions

- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro

- 1/4 cup chopped fresh mint

- Salt, to taste

- Lemon wedges, for serving



INSTRUCTIONS:- 



1. Prepare the Tikki: Mix together mashed potatoes, peas, breadcrumbs, gram flour, cumin seeds, coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, salt, lemon juice, and oil. Shape into patties.


2. Prepare the Chole: Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add cumin seeds, coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and garam masala powder. Cook for 1 minute. Add onions, garlic, and tomato. Cook until the onions are golden brown. Add chickpeas, salt, and lemon juice. Cook for 10 minutes.


3. Assemble the Chaat: Place a Tikki on a plate. Spoon Chole over the Tikki. Top with yogurt, tamarind chutney, green chutney, crispy onions, cilantro, mint, and salt. Serve with lemon wedges.
