DESCRIPTION:-
A Simple recipe for Egg Pepper Fry:
INGREDIENTS:
- 4-6 eggs, hard-boiled and sliced
- 2 large onions, chopped
- 2 large bell peppers (any color), chopped
- 2-3 green chilies, chopped
- 1 teaspoon ginger paste
- 1 teaspoon garlic paste
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
- Salt, to taste
- Chopped cilantro, for garnish
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and let them sizzle.
2. Add chopped onions and sauté until they're translucent.
3. Add chopped bell peppers and green chilies. Sauté for 3-4 minutes or until the vegetables are tender.
4. Add ginger paste and garlic paste. Sauté for another minute.
5. Add coriander powder, turmeric powder, and red chili powder. Mix well.
6. Add sliced eggs and mix gently.
7. Add salt to taste and mix well.
8. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 2-3 minutes or until the flavors have melded together.
9. Garnish with chopped cilantro and serve with rice, roti, or paratha.
TIPS AND VARIATIONS:
- Use any color bell pepper you like, or a combination of colors.
- Add some chopped tomatoes or potatoes to the dish for added flavor and texture.
- Use a mix of spices, such as garam masala or pav bhaji masala, to add depth to the dish.
