  GATTE KE SABZI 


DESCRIPTION:-

INGREDIENTS:

- 1/2 cup yogurt

- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder

- 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder

- 1/2 teaspoon garam masala powder

- 1/2 teaspoon salt

- 2 cups yogurt

- 1 cup water

- Chopped fresh cilantro for garnish



INSTRUCTIONS:- 



1. To make the Gatte:


    - In a large mixing bowl, combine the gram flour, salt, baking soda, turmeric powder, and red chili powder.


    - Gradually add the ghee or oil and mix until the mixture resembles breadcrumbs.


    - Add the yogurt and mix until a smooth dough forms.


    - Knead the dough for 5-7 minutes until it becomes soft and pliable.


    - Divide the dough into 6-8 equal portions and shape each portion into a cylindrical shape.


    - Boil or steam the gatte for 10-15 minutes until they're cooked through.


2. To make the Sabzi:


    - Heat the ghee or oil in a large pan over medium heat.


    - Add the cumin seeds and coriander seeds and let them sizzle for a few seconds.


    - Add the turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala powder, and salt. Mix well.


    - Add the yogurt and water and mix until the mixture thickens.


    - Add the cooked gatte to the sabzi and mix well.


    - Simmer the sabzi for 5-7 minutes until the flavors have melded together.


3. Serve the Gatte ke Sabzi hot, garnished with chopped fresh cilantro.
