 PAKISTANI CHICKEN MASALA

INGREDIENTS:-



- 500 grams boneless, skinless chicken breast or thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces

- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds

- 1 teaspoon coriander seeds

- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder

- 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder

- 1/2 teaspoon garam masala powder

- 1/2 teaspoon salt

- 2 cloves garlic, minced

- 1-inch ginger, grated

- 2 medium onions, chopped

- 2 medium tomatoes, chopped

- 1 tablespoon tomato puree

- 1 tablespoon yogurt

- 1 tablespoon lemon juice

- Chopped cilantro, for garnish



INSTRUCTIONS:-



1. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and coriander seeds, and let them sizzle for a few seconds.


2. Add garlic and ginger, and sauté for 1 minute.


3. Add the chicken pieces and cook until they're browned on all sides.


4. Add onions and cook until they're translucent.


5. Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala powder, and salt. Mix well.


6. Add tomatoes and tomato puree, and cook until the sauce thickens.


7. Stir in yogurt and lemon juice.


8. Cook for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and the sauce is rich and creamy.
