 SHAHI PANEER PULAO 


DESCRIPTION:-

INGREDIENTS:- 



For the rice:



- 1 cup basmati rice

- 2 cups water

- 1 tablespoon ghee or oil

- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds

- 1 teaspoon coriander seeds

- 1/2 teaspoon salt



For the paneer mixture:



- 250 grams paneer (Indian cheese), cut into small cubes

- 1 tablespoon ghee or oil

- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds

- 1 teaspoon coriander powder

- 1/2 teaspoon garam masala powder

- 1/2 teaspoon salt

- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

- 2 cloves garlic, minced

- 1-inch ginger, grated

- 1 tablespoon lemon juice

- Chopped cilantro, for garnish



For the onion mixture:



- 1 large onion, thinly sliced

- 1 tablespoon ghee or oil

- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds

- 1/2 teaspoon salt



INSTRUCTIONS:-



1. Cook the basmati rice according to package instructions. Set aside.


2. Heat ghee or oil in a pan over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and coriander seeds, and let them sizzle for a few seconds.


3. Add the paneer cubes and cook until they're lightly browned.


4. Add cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.


5. Add garlic, ginger, and lemon juice. Mix well.


6. In a separate pan, heat ghee or oil over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and let them sizzle for a few seconds.


7. Add the sliced onions and cook until they're lightly browned.


8. To assemble the pulao, layer the cooked rice, paneer mixture, and onion mixture in a large serving dish.


9. Garnish with chopped cilantro and serve hot.






TIPS:- 


- Use high-quality basmati rice for the best flavor and texture.


- Adjust the amount of spices to your desired level of flavor.


- Add other ingredients like peas, carrots, or cashews to the pulao for added flavor and texture.
