INGREDIENTS:-
_For the marinade:_
- 250 gm paneer (Indian cheese), cut into small cubes
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon garam masala powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1/2 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
- Salt, to taste
_For the sauce:_
- 2 tablespoons butter or ghee
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger
- 1 tablespoon tomato puree
- 1 tablespoon heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon garam masala powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1/2 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
- Salt, to taste
- Chopped fresh cilantro, for garnish
_For the kadhai masala:_
- 1 tablespoon coriander seeds
- 1 tablespoon cumin seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon sticks
- 2-3 green cardamom pods
- 1/2 teaspoon mace powder
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg powder
INSTRUCTIONS:-
_To make the marinade:_
1. In a bowl, whisk together lemon juice, garam masala powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, cayenne pepper (if using), and salt.
2. Add the paneer cubes to the marinade and mix gently to coat.
