KEY FEATURES:

- Crispy, golden-brown exterior

- Creamy, melted paneer filling

- Flavored with aromatic spices and herbs

- Perfect snack or appetizer

- Vegetarian delight

INGREDIENTS:-

*For the paneer mixture:*-

- 250 grams paneer (Indian cheese), crumbled

- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs

- 1/4 cup grated carrot

- 1/4 cup grated beetroot

- 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro

- 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder

- 1/2 teaspoon coriander powder

- 1/4 teaspoon garam masala powder

- 1/4 teaspoon salt

- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

- 2 tablespoons lemon juice

*For the coating:*-

- 1 cup breadcrumbs

- 1/4 cup grated cheese (optional)

*For frying:*-

- Vegetable oil, for shallow frying

INSTRUCTIONS:-

1. *Prepare the paneer mixture*:-

In a large bowl, combine the crumbled paneer, breadcrumbs, grated carrot, grated beetroot, chopped cilantro, cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder, salt, black pepper, and lemon juice. Mix well.

2. *Shape the cutlets*: -

Divide the paneer mixture into 6-8 equal portions and shape each portion into a cutlet.

3. *Coat the cutlets*:-

Dip each cutlet in the breadcrumbs and coat evenly. If using grated cheese, sprinkle it on top of the breadcrumbs.

4. *Shallow fry the cutlets*:-

Heat a non-stick pan or a cast-iron skillet with about 1/2 inch (1 cm) of vegetable oil over medium heat. When the oil is hot, add 2-3 cutlets (do not overcrowd) and shallow fry until they are golden brown and crispy on both sides.

5. *Drain and serve*:-

Remove the cutlets from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil. Serve hot with your favorite chutney or sauce.

TIPS:-

- Use fresh and good-quality paneer for the best results.

- Adjust the amount of breadcrumbs according to the moisture content of the paneer.

- You can also add other ingredients like chopped onions, capsicum, or mushrooms to the paneer mixture.

- For a healthier option, you can bake the cutlets instead of frying them. Simply brush them with a little oil and bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for about 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.

CONCLUSION:-

Paneer Cutlet is a delightful and satisfying snack that is sure to please even the most discerning palates. With its crispy exterior and creamy, melted paneer filling, this dish is a perfect blend of textures and flavors.
