STREET STYLE DABELI RECIPE
🌮 Street Style Dabeli Recipe (Mumbai & Kutch Style)

🛒 Ingredients
For the Potato Filling
4 medium potatoes (boiled & mashed)
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp Dabeli masala
2 tbsp tamarind-date chutney
1 tbsp garlic chutney
½ tsp red chilli powder
Salt to taste
2 tbsp water
For Assembling:-
4 Dabeli pav (ladi pav)
½ cup roasted peanuts
½ cup nylon sev
¼ cup pomegranate seeds
2 tbsp chopped coriander
Butter for roasting
Chutneys:-
Sweet tamarind-date chutney
Spicy garlic chutney
Green mint-coriander chutney (optional)
👨🍳 Method :-
Step 1: Prepare the Filling
Heat butter in a pan.
Add mashed potatoes.
Mix in Dabeli masala, chilli powder, salt, tamarind chutney, garlic chutney, and water.
Cook for 3–4 minutes until everything combines well.
Turn off the heat and add chopped coriander.
Step 2: Prepare the Pav:-
Slice the pav from the center without separating it completely.
Spread garlic chutney on one side.
Spread sweet tamarind chutney on the other side.
Step 3: Fill the Dabeli
Stuff the hot potato mixture generously inside the pav.
Add roasted peanuts.
Sprinkle pomegranate seeds.
Add plenty of nylon sev.
Garnish with chopped coriander.
Step 4: Toast
Heat a tawa.
Add butter generously.
Toast the stuffed Dabeli on both sides until golden brown and crispy.

Don't skip pomegranate—it adds the signature sweet burst.
